A High Wind Watch is in effect through 8 PM this evening for the Nebraska Panhandle.
Winds will be northwest at 30 to 40 mph with gusts up to 50 mph possible. Strong cross winds will be hazardous to light weight and high profile vehicles, including campers and tractor trailers.
