Patricia Ann (Myers) Menuey, born August 20, 1928, passed quietly away at Highland Park Care Center on Sunday, July 21, 2024 in Alliance, Nebraska. She was born, raised and lived in Alliance all those 95 years.
For 61 years, she was married to the love of her life, Lance Menuey. Pat, often described by her friends as a lovely lady, had many talents, mother, bookkeeper, interior designer, organizer of events, seamstress and grandmother. But the talent most enjoyed by family and neighbors was her ability to bake cookies, especially extraordinary snickerdoodles. For the family, Christmas was not Christmas unless you received a box of homemade cookies. The cookie jars were never empty. We will miss seeing her smile and the twinkle in her eye, but thankfully memories live on forever.
She is survived by her daughters, Connie (Dennis) McCullah and MelloDe McCart; six grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren and two great, great-grandchildren. Pat was preceded in death by her husband Lance and son, Jeff.
Memorials may be given to Highland Park Care Center’s Memory Support Unit.
A celebration of memories is being planned for spring of next year.
