Mary “Frieda” Bowman, 91 years of age, died on Sunday, Dec 21, 2025, at Kinship Pointe, Wayne, NE. 

Funeral services will be at Messiah Lutheran Church, in Broadwater, Nebraska Jan 3, 2026, at 11:00am with lunch and visitation to follow. Memorial funds may be directed to Bowman Family for later designation.

Frieda is survived by her daughter, Danita (Warren) Hanson, Concord, Ne., two sons, Mark (Teresa) Bowman, Alliance, Ne., and Doug (Shelli) Bowman Bridgeport, Ne. 4 grandchildren, 8 Great grandchildren, and 2 great- great grandchildren. 

She was a long-time resident of Alliance and Morrill Co, and Bridgeport, Ne, before moving to Wayne, NE. She was a teacher in numerous rural schools around the Alliance area and had a preschool in Bridgeport. 

She is preceded in death by her parents, John &amp; Juanita Hashagen, husband, Donzel, and a brother, Dee Hashagen.
