Travel conditions will be very difficult to impossible across portions of the area today through Tuesday night. Snow totals may vary significantly across fairly small distances.
Expect the most dangerous conditions along the Pine Ridge in Niobrara, Sioux, and Dawes counties, the Cheyenne Ridge in Laramie, Kimball, Banner, and Cheyenne counties, and the I-80 Summit.
Lower totals are expected in the lower elevations of the North Platte River Valley, so even if conditions look fine at your location, be sure to check conditions on your planned route as they may be drastically different!
