Alliance – Gobbling up some fun at the Alliance Public Library is Butterball the Turkey, will be hiding in the library for children aged preschool through grade 2 to find, with one prize bag per child. This search will take place during library hours from Nov. 2 through 24.
In celebration of Charles M. Schulz’s birthday on Nov. 26, 1922, the library is offering special events including Story Time for ages 3-6 with special guest, Annette Wood, featuring “Charlie Brown and Friends” held on Tuesday, Nov. 16 at 10 am and Thursday and Nov. 18 at 1 pm in the Children’s Room. Also included in the special events is a Movie Matinee for ages preschool through grade 12 will be held Saturday, November 20th from 2 - 3:30 pm in the Community Room featuring “A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving” and “A Charlie Brown Christmas”. Refreshments will be provided by the Alliance Public Library Foundation.
