The Chadron Police Department is continuing an investigation into the unattended death of a 38-year-old Chadron man. On Wednesday morning, Chadron Police Officers were dispatched to the home of Zachary Turbiville. Turbiville was found to be unresponsve by family members who became concerned when they could not reach him by phone.
The Dawes County Attorney/Coroner was called to the scene to assist in the investigation. After a review of the scene, medical records and witness statements, an autopsy and toxicological screening was ordered.
Preliminary results do not indicate foul play, the investigation into the specific cause of death is ongoing. Anyone having any information is asked to contact the Chadron Police Department at (308)-432-0510.
