Scottsbluff’s Police Department has concluded its investigation completed of this motor vehicle accident. The investigation identified and collected surveillance video in the area to assist in determining the cause of the accident.
The video revealed that the northbound motorcycle, driven by 17-year-old James Adams of Morrill, NE was not traveling at a high rate of speed prior to the accident. The video also identified, that the SUV, driven by Cadence Dubray, 17 of Scottsbluff, failed to stop at the Stop sign at E 19th Street and 1st Avenue, just prior to impact with the motorcycle.
A citation for a Stop Sign violation has been issued to Cadence Dubray. The investigating officer is also recommending a charge of Operating a Motorcycle without the required operators license endorsement as well.
