ALLIANCE, Neb. – Thank you to all who attended last night's public tax hearing. Tonight's Special Council Meeting will be held at the Alliance Public Library, at 7 p.m., to consider adoption of the proposed FY26 Budget and property tax rate. It is proposed to raise property tax revenue by 10 percent.

Property Tax is one of several funding mechanisms for the General Fund and Airport, and is used to support many different functions including, but certainly not limited to Parks, Library, Museum, Police, Fire and ambulances.
