The National Weather Service in Cheyenne is calling for temperatures to rise into the weekend, offering relief from the bitter cold.
After a projected high of just 6 degrees Thursday, the mercury will rise to the mid-20s Friday, jumping all the way to the mid-40s on Saturday and Sunday.
The overnight and Friday morning wind chill values will be as low as 25 below zero, the NWS warned.
