Jennifer Sue (Baker) Chancellor, 48, of Hemingford, Nebraska, passed away on September 17, 2026. She was born on October 28, 1977, in Palm Beach County, Florida.
Jen was a daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, aunt, and friend. More than anything, she was proud of her children and grandchildren. She loved her family deeply, and the smile she so often wore could brighten a room. Jen had a way of making everyone laugh, and the people close to her will hold on to that laughter.
Jen listened when someone needed to talk, checked in, and showed up when it mattered. She often put other people’s needs before her own. Her friends knew they could count on her, and her kindness meant a great deal to the people who knew her.
Jen is survived by her loving husband, Jeff Chancellor; her children, Aubre (Austen) Dudley, Christian, Christopher, and Arabella Mundt; her grandchildren, Isiah, Harlynd, and Renlee; her father, John (Paula) Baker; her mother-in-law, Patricia Chancellor; her siblings, Jaime Huskey, Jonica Kee, Daniel (Amanda) Chancellor, Carol (Ryan) Farritor, and Christen (Matt) Finnell; her nieces and nephews; and extended family and many close friends.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Debra Bercaw, and her father-in-law, Don Chancellor.
A celebration of Jen’s life will be held at a later date.
While we mourn the loss of our beloved [Jen], we take comfort in knowing she is resting in the eternal embrace of our Savior.
“Jesus said, ‘I am the resurrection and the life. Whoever believes in me, though he die, yet shall he live.’” — John 11:25
May the Lord of peace himself give the family peace at all times and in every way.
