An Alliance man has been ordered to serve one year in prison for burglary.
41-year-old Brandon Picket Pin was convicted of burglarizing Simplot of Berea.
Court records indicate Picket Pin broke into Simplot on March 23 of last year.
Simplot’s security cameras revealed Picket Pin had taken a safety deposit box, several tools and a fuel tank filled with gasoline.
Picket Pin then took the items to a pawn shop in Scottsbluff.
In District Court, Picket Pin entered a plea of No Contest on November 13 and was sentenced on January 22.
He will be eligible for parole in about five months.
