The City of Chadron's Police Chief has resigned.
According to a press release from the city, Police Chief Tim Lordino tendered his resignation effective Feb. 10.

Chief Lordino has been with the Chadron Police Department for 13 years.
Chief Lordino started his postion with the City of Chadron on Aug. 13, 2007. He previously worked for the Gering Police Department for 16 years.
"The City of Chadron wishes Chief Lordino well in his new endeavors," said Milo Rust, Interim City Manager.
Lordino will be moving into a different career with the Medicaid Fraud and Abuse unit at the Nebraska Attorney General's Office as an investigator.
