Carol A. Johnson, 94, formerly of Alliance passed away Thursday, March 28, 2024 at Littleton, Colorado.
She was born May 14, 1929 in Bridgeport, Nebraska to Carl and Clara (Lapping) Sward.
On July 6, 1958 she was united in marriage to Robert Carl Johnson. Carol was a 62 year resident of Alliance. She was a member of the First Baptist Church where she served as Financial Secretary. She also was a member of the BBGH Auxiliary for 22 years and served as treasurer.
She is survived by her daughter, Lynda (Joe) Feistner of Littleton, CO, her grandchildren, Michele Feistner of Littleton, CO, John (Heather) Feistner of Durango and Jeremiah (Amanda) Johnson of Mead, CO, and her great-grandchildren, Taylor and Brynley Feistner of Durango and Erica Ashley Bueche of Charleston, SC. She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Michael R. Johnson and her daughter, Karla S. Johnson and her parents.
A memorial service will be Saturday, April 13 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Alliance with Pastor Gene Hill officiating. Burial will be in the Alliance Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to First Baptist Church and American Heart Association.
