United Way of Western Nebraska Announces Annual Golf Tournament

ALLIANCE, Neb. –United Way of Western Nebraska (UWWN) invites community members, businesses and golf enthusiasts to participate in its annual United Way Golf Tournament, set to take place at Skyview Golf Course in Alliance on Tuesday, June 23 at Skyview Golf Course in Alliance, with a 9:30 a.m. shotgun start.

Skyview Golf Course, an 18-hole championship course located at 2613 CR 57 southeast of Alliance, offers a scenic backdrop in the beautiful rolling Sand Hills. The course measures 6,845 yards from the championship tees and 5,500 yards from the forward tees, providing an enjoyable challenge for golfers of all skill levels.

The tournament will be played in a four-person team scramble format. The entry fee is $300 per team, which includes green fees, a tournament gift and supper. Teams may register online at uwwn.org/golf or in person at Skyview Golf Course.

Prizes will be awarded to top teams. In addition, several flag prizes will be awarded throughout the tournament.

The United Way Golf Tournament is made possible by this year’s title sponsors, Box Butte General Hospital and Dairy Queen of Alliance.

This event serves as an important fundraiser supporting United Way of Western Nebraska’s Community Impact initiatives and helping provide grants to local nonprofits serving western Nebraska in the areas of:

- Youth Opportunity

- Financial Security

- Community Resiliency

Currently, United Way of Western Nebraska supports 22 local nonprofit agencies, helping strengthen communities across the region. The event also brings together donors, volunteers and community partners for a day of camaraderie and philanthropy, reinforcing the organization’s long-standing commitment to building a stronger, healthier and more compassionate region.
