A Chadron man has been found dead.
On Nov. 11 at approximately 9:40 p.m. the Chadron Police Department and Dawes County Attorney/Coroner were contacted to investigate the unattended death of 78-year-old Gerald Howard.
Howard was found unresponsive in his Chadron home by his spouse.
"After an investigation of the scene, witness interviews, a review of medical reports and consultation with medical personnel...it was determined that Mr. Howard died of natural causes," said Vance Haug, Dawes County Attorney/Coroner.
