ALLIANCE, Neb. – Fall in love again and rekindle your desire to read by participating in the Alliance Public Library’s “Blind Date with a Book”. Patrons ages 16 and up are encouraged to check out a book from the display January 9 – February 12. Those who check out an item from the “Blind Date” display will become eligible to win a date night that includes dinner and a movie. There is a one book limit per checkout. Displayed book covers have been concealed with wrapping paper, and a written brief description provides clues to the identity of the book.
Entrance into the prize drawing will be included for every book checked out from the display. The winner will be drawn at the conclusion of the event on February 12 at 3 p.m. This Library event is sponsored by the APL Foundation with prizes provided.
