Paul Bueide (1941 - 2023)

Paul passed away peacefully holding his wife, Marsha's hand on June 14th, 2023.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, June 24, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church with Pastor David Larson officiating. Burial will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Scottsbluff. At his request, cremation has taken place. Memorials may be given to Calvary Lutheran Church. Fond memories and condolences may be left at www.dugankramer.com. Paul was born March 26, 1941 to P.K. Lawrence and Ruth (Haaland) Bueide in Fergus Falls, MN. He began his education in Laverne, MN and graduated from High School in Willmar, MN. He attended the Minnesota School of Business graduating in 1966.

He married Marsha Pederson on June 25, 1960 at Willmar Minnesota and made their home in Willmar, St. Paul, Coon Rapids in Minnesota before moving to Scottsbluff, NE in 1974. He was a member of Calvary Lutheran Church.

Paul was a systems analyst for Univac in Minneapolis before being employed at Lockwood in Gering as a systems analyst. He began his hay business on evenings and weekends before becoming a full time farmer in 1981.

He loved music and was a member of the Apollo Club of Minneapolis, a men's chorus, and a member of the Sugar Valley Singers of Scottsbluff.

Paul was a devoted husband, father and grandfather and beloved child of God. He loved the outdoors and nature with many camping and fishing trips in his younger years. Paul and Marsha would have had their 63rd wedding anniversary on June 25th and raised 3 children: Mary, Michael and Elizabeth who blessed them with 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Paul is survived by his wife, Marsha; his sister, Elsa (David) Larson; 3 children, Mary (Brad) Hall of Longmont CO, Michael (Christina) Bueide of Scottsbluff NE, Elizabeth (Shilo) McCoy; grandchildren, Taylor (Juliette) Hall, Alyssa (Branden) Wilson, Molly Bueide, Alysson (Mason) Wren, Andrea Bueide and Christian Sunblade; great-grandchild, Camilla Wren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents PK Lawrence and Ruth Bueide; brothers, Harold and Daniel Bueide; sister, Katherine Renstrom, and great-granddaughter, Harlowe Wren.
