Peggy Noreen Kling, 69, passed away Friday Jan 10, 2020 at Regional Health in Rapid City, SD.
She was born June 12, 1950 at Gordon, NE to Earnest and Agnes (Dishong) McKinnon. On August 24, 1969 she was married in Gordon, NE to Gene Kling. Their family relocated to Alliance in February of 1976.
Peggy spent her life as a homemaker. She enjoyed time with her grandkids and being outdoors whenever she could. Feeding the birds, squirrels, and other animals in her yard brought her joy, as well riding trails and camping in the Black Hills. You could often find her just sitting, watching the flowers grow.
She is survived by her husband, Gene, her daughters Kari (special friend Jim) Mulcahey of Pensacola, FL, and Kristy (Travis) Shoemaker of Alliance, her son Kory (special friend Sam) Kling of Alliance, 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, her two beloved dogs Gracie and Chloe, and her Sister Marcia McKinnon, brother-in-law Ron. Her parents and her brother Larry McKinnon preceded her in death.
Memorial services will be Tuesday, January 14 at 2:00 p.m. at the Alliance Berean Church with Pastor Glenn Johnson officiating.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor’s choice.
