While we applaud everyone who takes their health seriously, please do NOT go to the emergency room UNLESS it is a medical emergency. A great way to assess this is by asking yourself if you would have gone to the ER last year for what you're experiencing at the moment.

If you're experiencing a fever of 100.4F or higher, have a cough, have trouble breathing or shortness of breath, please consider the following:

If you've traveled to an area with widespread COVID-19 outbreak and have had close contact with a person who has confirmed COVID-19, the best guidance is to stay home, get plenty of rest, drink fluid, and take pain/fever medications like acetaminophen or ibuprofen. And minimize contact with others! Here is a map of reported cases currently:https://www.cdc.gov/coronavirus/2019-ncov/cases-in-us.html

If you've traveled to an area with widespread COVID-19 outbreak and have close contact with a person with a confirmed case of COVID-19 and are experiencing the above symptoms call PPHD at 308-262-5764 or BBGH at 308-762-6660 before visiting the hospital, and you will be given further instructions.

Thank you for your understanding and cooperation! Updates will continue as guidance from the CDC and PPHD become available.
