Due to the increased concerns over the COVID-19 and the request of CMS and DHHS, The Hemingford Community Care Center will be taking critical steps to ensure our residents, their families, our staff and their family’s safety. Our doors will be locked 24 hours a day for the next 2 weeks unless things would change with in the CMS/CDC guidelines.
We are requesting no visits. Essential staff will be checked for fever, coughs, shortness of breath, sore throat and/or any other signs of illness. Delivery persons will also be checked when entering the facility and may be asked to wear a mask and sanitize their hands prior to entering. We will attempt to keep them localized at the front entrance only, away from Resident common areas.
Again, the doors will be locked. There is a door bell at the 2 entrance doors, which can be used to gain entrance if ABSOLUTELY needed, otherwise there will be no one allowed in.
