After careful consideration of the new recommendations from the Governor’s Office requesting no larger than 10 people at gatherings and in line with the recommendations from Panhandle Public Health District (PPHD) it has been decided to close the Chadron Area Aquatic and Well Center to the public for a minimum of two weeks.
We will continue to monitor the situation and evaluate the closure at the end of this time frame to determine if an extension of the closure is warranted.
For those pass holders that are based on time (Annual, Quarterly, Monthly) the time during this closure will be prorated back to those passes.
We want to continue to remind folks to stay calm and follow the recommendations from Center for Disease Control (CDC) and PPHD.
