Fall River Health Services continues to take COVID-19 precautions

Hot Springs, SD— FRHS continues their relentless efforts to confront COVID-19 and has the best interest of their community at heart.

Please ask yourself the following questions prior to visiting the facility:

1. Have you, someone living in your household, someone you have been in close or frequent contact with, or someone you are caring for been diagnosed with COVID-19 or had any contact with a confirmed case of COVID-19?

2. Have you, someone living in your household someone you have been in close or frequent contact with, or someone you are caring for traveled outside South Dakota in the last 14 days?

If you answered yes to #1 OR #2 *AND* have any of the following symptoms that started within the past week:

· - Fever >100.0 (99.6 if over 65 y/o)

· - Cough

· - Shortness of Breath

Please call FRHS Rural Clinic at 745.8928 to discuss what you should do next. Note if you have an emergency please call 911.

DUE TO COVID-19 FRHS HAS PLACED A FACILITY WIDE VISITOR RESTRICTION POLICY DUE TO A PROACTIVE PROTOCAL TO PROTECT OUR PATIENTS AND STAFF. ALL VISITORS MUST BE SCREENED AT OUR MAIN ENTRANCE TO BE TESTED FOR COVID-19.

It's important that our Emergency Department team is available for patients with emergency symptoms.
