-Golf…one of the few activities we can participate in while social distancing right now! The weather is finally turning to more consistent spring temps and we need all the fresh air and sunshine we can get.
Skyview Golf Course has reopened with restrictions, for those wanting to get out their clubs and get on the greens.
Adults and children can walk or take a cart to have a relaxing ride or get some extra steps in for the day.
Don’t know how to golf? Set up lessons for a later date and still come out to get in some practice or ride along. Because no matter what the desire or level of play, you can immerse yourself in the natural beauty of the Sandhills and the endless Nebraska sky.
The golf shop is also open with all new must-have merchandise and get ahead of the game by grabbing gift cards for the season, holidays, and upcoming birthdays. Even before social distancing came onto the scene, golf has been a special and unique sport that allows all of us to connect through the conversations we have while on the course about our families, friends, currents events, and just life in general. We need those connections in modern times now more than ever, and to do that at a safe distance that’s currently necessary-well, that’s a hole in one if you ask me.
-“Cruisin the Butte” is happening in Alliance every Saturday at 4PM to give us all a fun way to get out and keep our spirits up as way to “get together” without actually “getting together”. Alliance Theater will sell popcorn out front from 3:30 PM until the crowd stops.
-In Hemingford, get your fresh air while chasing rainbows! Rainbow chalk art can be found on your walks around town.
Please remember to follow your local, state, and national guidelines for health and safety for any activities. Also, due to the current evolving status of the COVID-19 virus, all events are subject to change. Please contact each event’s coordinator directly to verify any changes or cancellations.
