The Box Butte County Election Drop Box arrived approximately 11:30 a.m. on April 21.

The Election Drop Box is located in the Alliance Police Department parking lot directly behind the Box Butte County courthouse.

"We have issued more ballots already than the total of ballots voted on in the May 2018 Primary," said Judy Messersmith, Box Butte Co. Clerk/Election Commissioner. "Box Butte County residents are liking this voting by mail. The turn out is fabulous at this time."

Messersmith stated it takes a team of county employees to make this primary election happen during uncertain times with the pandemic.

"Don't know what I would do without Gwen, Cassie, Raquel and&nbsp;Martie...they are just the best!"&nbsp;
