Due to COVID-19, voting procedures will be somewhat different this year to minimize the spread of the virus.

All voting precincts will be located in the county courthouse building for this election.

No one will be voting at the Burkholder Building or at the Hemingford Parish Hall.

Polls will be open from 7:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., when the voters get to the polls, they will find additional safety measures in place.

Masks will be available for the voters and election workers.

The courthouse door will have one entrance and one exit.

6 foot social distancing will be followed for voting booth placement.

We will have individual black pens for the voters to keep after they have marked their ballot.

Plastic sleeves and booths will be wiped down with disinfectant after each use.

With the large number of early voting ballots requested, I don't expect a big turnout on Tuesday, but we ask for your patience and we will get everyone taken care of.
