Alliance – The Alliance Public Library will open to the public on Monday June 1st. Regular hours of operation which are Mon-Thurs 8:00 am to 6:00 pm, Fri 8:00 am to 5:00 pm and Sat 10:00 am to 2:00 pm.
The following provisions will be in place to ensure the safety or our patrons and staff:
• Limit of 25 people in the library at a time.
• Two public computers, socially distanced, will be ready for use with a 30 minute allotted time session per patron per day.
• There will be four stations for checkout that are located around the library.
• Summer reading will operate as planned with book distribution and return outside the library. No live programs this year.
• West door pickup will continue for those who are not comfortable coming into the library.
• Meeting rooms will be available for use for groups of 20 or less using rooms A and B.
Hand sanitation stations will be provided at both entrances to the building and inside the library doors. All stations and items returned from circulation will be sanitized after use. As per guidelines, please practice social distancing and do not enter the library if you’ve been sick or around someone who has been sick or are running a fever.
