Chadron Public Schools Foundation is proud to announce a blogspot to inform the public of actions and activities. The site is: cpsfoundation.blogspot.com

The CPS Foundation is a non-profit corporation dedicated to developing and maintaining programs that are in the best interest of the Chadron Public Schools District and surrounding community.

The CPS Foundation is a continuous sponsor of:

- Student Camp Scholarships for disciplines such as music, math and science.

- Teacher Incentive Grants for innovative projects designed to enhance student learning.

- College Scholarships based on financial need, leadership in both school and community, and academic excellence.

Additional support has been given to the Student Wellness Fund. This fund assists families with co-pays and deductibles for mental health services for CPS students.

Most recently, the CPS Foundation awarded the third and fourth grade teachers a grant of $50 per classroom for the PBIS (Positive Behavior Intervention and Support) Incentive Program.

This program rewards students for positive behavior. Additionally, the foundation awarded the third grade teachers a grant of $300 to provide supplies for their 1880 School Lunch Project for their field trip this spring to the Dawes County Museum.

Details of the many scholarships can be viewed under the scholarship tab on the blogspot.

Donations are continuously accepted to support these scholarships and projects. The CPS Foundation is a 501c organization. All gifts are tax deductible.
