Two people were transported to a hospital after a vehicle accident in Alliance.
On Dec. 5 at approximately 5:00 p.m. Alliance Police Department Officers responded to a two-vehicle accident near the intersection of 3rd and Emerson.
A 2002 Ford Explorer driven by Rebecca Martinez collided into the rear end of a 1999 Chevrolet pickup. The pickup was driven by Tammy Schafer.
Schafter and a juvenile passenger were transported to Box Butte General Hospital for injuries sustained in the accident.
"Not all occupants involved in the motor vehicle accident were wearing seatbelts," said Cody Buskirk, Alliance Police Sgt. "At this time no citations have been issued."
