WNCC to host spring commencement in person

SCOTTSBLUFF - Western Nebraska Community College will host the Spring 2021 Commencement ceremonies in person on the Scottsbluff Campus. 

Commencement will be at 10 a.m., Saturday, May 8. The ceremony will take place in the Judy Chaloupka Theater and will be limited to graduates and commencement ceremony staff. The general public will be seated in Cougar Palace where the ceremony will be livestreamed. Capacity in Cougar Palace is limited to 1,000 patrons.

The Adult Education (GED) graduation is scheduled for 7 p.m., Friday, May 7, in the Judy Chaloupka Theater, and the Nurse Pinning Ceremony will be at 1 p.m., Saturday, May 8, also in the Judy Chaloupka Theater. Graduates will be able to bring up to five guests to these ceremonies.

Panhandle Public Health District (PPHD) has approved all ceremonies. More details about the ceremonies, including safety guidelines, will be forthcoming.
