SCOTTSBLUFF - Western Nebraska Community College invites all high school juniors, seniors, and their families to attend the 2021 virtual Discover WNCC Open House, Monday, Feb. 8.

Students and their families will have an opportunity to learn about WNCC's programs of study, the financial aid process, and student life. The first Zoom session will be from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. An evening session will also be available from 6:00 to 8:30 p.m.

"This is a great opportunity for interested students to learn more about WNCC," WNCC Admissions Director Gretchen Foster said. "They will be able to interact with instructors and current students, ask questions, and learn about our Support Services."

On Feb. 8, students will be able to choose which Zoom sessions they want to attend by simply selecting what program of study they are most interested in. From there, they will also be able to attend Zoom sessions about Financial Aid, student clubs and campus life, housing, and WNCC support services. In the final session, students will have the opportunity to hear from and interact with current WNCC students about their college experience.

Registering in advance for the open house is not necessary, but it is encouraged. Every student who pre-registers for Discover WNCC will be entered into a drawing to win one of eight $250 scholarships to WNCC.
