LINCOLN, Neb. – Today, the Judicial Nominating Commission for County Court Judge in the Second Judicial District advanced James M. Buchanan and Patrick R. Runge for consideration by Governor Jim Pillen. They are both from Omaha.
The Second Judicial District consists of Cass, Sarpy and Otoe counties. The vacancy is due to Judge PaTricia A. Freeman’s appointment to the Nebraska Court of Appeals.
