The Alliance Police Department has investigated reports of four separate vehicle thefts.

They occurred over the last week and the vehicles were stolen.

A 1999 Chevrolet Blazer, 1997 Dodge Dakota, 2019 Doolittle Cargo trailer and a 2001 Chevrolet Malibu were all stolen between June 15 - June 20.

The trailer is the only vehicle, which was not recovered. All cars had the keys inside.

“I appreciate all our community working together to make sure this stops, Alliance Police Chief Philip Lukens said. "It is everyone’s responsibility to prevent crime in our community. Officers have investigated the recovered vehicles to include swabbing for DNA. I highly encourage the individuals involved to get in front of this and reach out to police. We won’t allow this trend to continue in our city.”

The police are reminding all residents to do the following:

-Lock vehicles and remove your keys from the car.

-Remind your neighbors to do the same.

-Any trailers need to have hitch locks or boots.

-Call the police for any suspicious activity. Alliance police said you are not bothering us.

-If you know of someone who may have been involved please contact police dispatch.
