Alliance, NE – Beginning Thursday, April 13th, local quilters and instructors Elaine Moore, Carol Leonard, and Anita Allen will teach a Quilting Workshop from 6-8pm in the APL Community Room. The Workshop consists of 5 classes on April 13th, April 20th, April 27th, May 4th and May 18th and quilters will make a 55”x55” inch quilt top. Those who register will be provided with a kit that contains the pattern, and fabric for the quilt top and binding. They will learn how to follow cutting and assembly instructions and how to sew and make the quilt binding. The cost of the workshop is $100. Please note that participants should supply their own sewing machines, rotary cutters, rulers, and large cutting mats. Instructors will also have rulers and cutting mats available.
