There was severe weather in the Nebraska Panhandle on Saturday afternoon that included up to golf sized hail in some areas. Damage included destroyed crops, trees and plants just northeast of Sidney, along with power outages in Chappelle.
There were also reports of a rollover accident on Highway 26 east of Minatare.
Hail on the road and dense fog was reported at the time of the accident and there were also flood waters were also seen over county roads near Redington and in Bayard in Morrill County. The severe weather was mostly between 3 and 5 pm on Saturday.
