CHADRON, Neb. (AP) — The Chadron Volunteer Fire Department was called into action early Saturday morning to battle a structure fire on the 100 block of Chapin Street.
Fire crews were dispatched at 1:45 a.m. following a report from a third party. Responders worked quickly to contain the blaze, ensuring the safety of nearby residents and minimizing damage to surrounding properties.
By 5:30 a.m., all responding fire units were relieved from the scene and returned to the fire hall.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
