Chadron, Neb. – Camp Norwesca invites the community to a special Meet & Greet event on Sunday, September 14, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. This gathering will introduce local United Methodist Pastors, celebrate the opening of the camp’s new Ropes of Hope Low Ropes Course, and bring the community together for a joint worship service in the camp’s beautiful outdoor chapel.
Event Highlights:
-Meet & Greet – Connect with local United Methodist Pastors and fellow community members.
-Ribbon Cutting Ceremony – Hosted by the Chadron Chamber of Commerce, this event will mark the official opening of the new Ropes of Hope Low Ropes Course, designed to promote teamwork, leadership and outdoor adventure.
-Camp Tours – Explore Camp Norwesca’s scenic grounds and facilities.
-Joint Worship Service – Experience a meaningful service in the outdoor chapel overlooking the Nebraska National Forest.
-Delicious Indian Tacos – Enjoy a meal while connecting with friends and family.
This event is open to the public, and everyone is encouraged to attend. A free-will donation will be accepted to support Camp Norwesca’s ongoing programs and ministry. We are thrilled to welcome the community to Camp Norwesca for this special day of fellowship, celebration and worship. The Ropes of Hope Low Ropes Course represents our continued commitment to providing meaningful outdoor experiences that help young people grow in confidence and leadership.
