Cheryl Garvin, age 61, of Scottsbluff, Nebraska, passed away on January 6, 2024 at her home in Gering. An open house memorial gathering will be held on Monday, January 15, 2024 from 2-5pm at a family residence located at 2280 20th St, Gering, Nebraska 69341. Per her wishes, cremation has taken place. She was born in Casper, Wyoming on December 31, 1962 to Oliver Moore and Frances Stovall, receiving her early education in Casper at Garfield Elementary. She later obtained her GED from WNCC. Cheryl was united in marriage to Dana C. Garvin on April 17, 1987 in Hot Springs, South Dakota, and they made their home in Scottsbluff. This union was blessed with their daughter, Nicole, and Cheryl was a dedicated stay at home mom for 20 years. An avid reader, she loved her books, and was also a fan of film and television. Some of her favorite series included Golden Girls, M.A.S.H., and Harry Potter. She was a beautiful friend who had a big heart, and she will be greatly missed.
Cheryl was met at the Pearly Gates by her parents, Oliver and Frances (Stovall) Moore; husband, Dana; both sets of grandparents; and sisters, Marla and Carla.
