State Speech was on Wednesday in Kearney, and Kalli Bridge led the Alliance Bulldogs with a fourth-place finish in Persuasive in Class B. Bridge also placed ninth in Entertainment.
In her first State appearance, Emily McCune placed 13th in Extemp.
As a team, Alliance placed 12th overall and Dr. Kloch was pleased overall with the showing.
"It was a pretty good day, and we are excited about the progress we are making," Kloch said.
