A Scottsbluff man was arrested last week after a pursuit with police, but he was already facing sentencing of up to three years in prison on previous charges.
Eric Escalera faces charges of Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony, Terroristic Threats and Flight to Avoid Arrest after being arrested Tuesday after allegedly pointing a gun at an individual before leading authorities on a high-speed chase before crashing through a fence.
After being arraigned on Wednesday, Escalera has a preliminary hearing on Oct 24, while sentencing for Possession of Meth charges with Intent to Distribute are on Oct. 27. Escalera pleaded No Contest on that charge.
