On July 27 at approximately 1:30 p.m. the Dawes County Sheriff's Office and Dawes County EMS responded to a report of a woman who collapsed in her rural Crawford home.

33-year-old Katie Yoder died at the scene.

"After a review of evidence and witness interviews, an autopsy was ordered to assist in the determination of the cause of death," Dawes County Attorney/Coroner Vance Haug said.

On July 28 the autopsy was completed at Regional West Medical Center in Scottsbluff.

"The findings of the investigation conclude that Mrs. Yoder died of natural causes," Haug added.
