NORTH PLATTE, Neb.-A North Platte man has been arrested after he allegedly stalked a woman through social media.
According to police, on Feb. 12, officers responded to the report of a possible protection order violation.
Officers met with a female who reported receiving messages on social media from an unknown person.
Police said the victim told officers that, based on the things being said in the messages, she believed it was Jordan Bohman, 25. Police said the victim had an active protection order against Bohman.
Officers investigated and said the victim had been contacted over 100 times by the account.
Further investigation revealed evidence that police said connected Bohman to the account that had been messaging the victim.
Police said probable cause was established to arrest Bohman on suspicion of stalking and violation of a protection order.
On Feb. 15, officers contacted Bohman in the 100 block of East 3rd St. and took him into custody.
Bohman was jailed at the Lincoln County Detention Center.
