Connecting Young Nebraskans (CYN) is now accepting nominations for exemplary young professionals deserving of a 2025 Young Nebraskans Award. The deadline for applications, available at www.connectingyoungnebraskans.org, has been extended to Sept. 5. Young Nebraskans Awards celebrate talented, influential young Nebraskans who are making a positive impact in their workplaces and communities. Awards will be presented for the following categories: Young Professional of the Year, Community Involvement & Impact, Entrepreneurship & Innovation, Leadership & Professional Development and Diversity & Inclusion.
Recipients of the 2025 Young Nebraskans Awards will be announced at CYN’s 2025 Summit on Sept. 26 in Seward, Neb. at the Seward Civic Center. The CYN Summit is a biennial convening of hundreds of young people and professionals from across the state in furtherance of CYN’s mission to empower young Nebraskans to connect, lead and shape the future of Nebraska communities and the state. The Summit provides an opportunity for ambitious young Nebraskans to network and learn as well as experience the many local assets present in the hosting community.
