Jerry Lynn Worth, 74 passed away Friday, August 9th, 2024 in Lincoln, Nebraska.
Jerry was born December 31, 1949 in Dalton, Nebraska. He was the oldest child born to Floyd A. and Lois Darlene (Powell) Worth.
Jerry attended Elementary School in Dalton, Nebraska. The family moved to Alliance, Nebraska where he graduated high school in 1968.
In 1969, Jerry joined the Navy. After his service, he received a medical discharge. He then went on to attend colleges in a few different places.
Jerry worked in the insurance industry which took him to many states where he met new friends that became family to him.
He was a member of the Alliance Eagles #136 and the American Legion Post #7.
Jerry is survived by his brother, Jeffrey Worth of Alliance, Nebraska; His Uncle Johnny (Bev) Powell of Montrose, CO; Aunt, Jurene Green of Alliance NE; Nieces: Tera (Trent) Vogel, Alicia (Travis) Leisy, and Amber (Luke) Walkinshaw all of Alliance, NE. A nephew, Robert Archuleta of Billings, MT along with many great nieces, nephews and cousins.
Jerry was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd A. Worth and Lois Darlene (Powell) Worth; sister, Jennifer Crawford, brother-in-law, Arthur Crawford and his grandparents.
Services will be Friday, November 1, 2024 at 2:00pm at he Veteran's Cemetery with Color Guard.
