Richard (R.J.) McCune passed away on Saturday, June 22, 2024 at the age of 76.
He was born in Ravenna, Nebraska to Lyle and Hazle McCune on February 28, 1948.
He married his high school sweetheart and to this union 3 sons were born, Douglas (Dyanna) McCune of Alliance, David (Jennifer) McCune of Waipahu, HA and Darren (Glenda) McCune of Alliance and they blessed him with 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
His survivors include his wife, Linda, his children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, a sister, Ellen Anderson of Carmichael, CA and brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Dennis (Nancy) Seery of Murphysboro, TN. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and many friends.
Cremation was chosen and a graveside service will be at a later date. Condolences may be sent to the family at 1429 Bel Air Avenue, Alliance, NE 69301.
