The Upper Niobrara White Natural Resources District is holding their K-12 Poster Contest, Kylen Armstrong is the Conservation Programs Coordinator at NRD and says they hold a yearly poster contest and says that there is a different theme each year, and this year it is 'One Water.'
Armstrong says students are designing a poster according to the theme on an 8 X 11 piece of paper using any media like paint, markers, crayons or colored pencil, and it must say ‘one water’ on the paper.
All of the posters must be submitted by Fri, November 3 and there will be cash prizes for the winners in each age group and the winners of each group will move on to the state contest and even potentially a national contest if they get through that.
