A Scottsbluff woman was arrested Monday after a crash that resulted in injuries to two juvenile males. Scottsbluff Police responded to a call at 10:35 PM to the intersection of 5th Avenue and East Overland and upon arrival found a 2002 red Cadillac Escalade and 2007 Chevrolet Malibu in the intersection.

The ensuing investigation uncovered that the Cadillac was driven by 29-year-old Lorinda Cabrera of Scottsbluff, and the Chevrolet Malibu was driven by 41-year-old Elisia Rotherham of Scottsbluff.

Witnesses said the Cadillac Escalade was southbound on 5th Ave and ran a red light, striking the Chevrolet Malibu that was west bound on East Overland and had a green light.

The Chevrolet Malibu had two juvenile male passengers that were injured and transported to Regional West Medical Center in personal vehicles. A DUI investigation was conducted on Lorinda, the driver of the Cadillac Escalade. Lorinda was subsequently arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol, traffic signal violation, seatbelt violation, and no license on person.
