UPDATE: Hemingford to experience scheduled power outages

8:47 a.m. April 20 

"Due to unforeseen issues Nebraska Public Power District has encountered the planned power outages for the Village of Hemingford have been postponed," Hemingford Administrator/Clerk Treasurer Barb Straub said. "There will be no outage on April 21 nor will there be an outage on May 3. We are sorry for the inconvenience and will work to keep everyone updated when the outages are rescheduled."

The Village of Hemingford will experience a power outage on Wednesday, April 21 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

"Nebraska Public Power District will be working on the substation that feeds the village and needs the outage to put the village onto a backup power source," Hemingford Administrator/Clerk Treasurer Barb Straub said. 

On Monday, May 3 Hemingford will again experience a power outage. This will happen to return residents to permanent substation power.
