Sally Dahlberg, 67, passed away in her home on July 3, 2022 with her family by her side.
Sally Jo Mullin was born August 15, 1954 to Roger and Alice (Kossow) Mullin in Hibbing, MN. She joined her sister, Deborah and later younger brother Patrick.
When Sally was 14, she met an ornery young man named Timothy Dahlberg. She soon found that she couldn’t resist his infectious personality and they were united in marriage on December 4, 1971 in Park Rapids, MN. They welcomed a daughter, Jenni, and a son, John to compete their family. They enjoyed adventures, traveling, camping, and time spent with family. Sally loved raising her family and supporting her husband, Tim in his carpentry profession. Her door was always open to her kids’ friends and she became a second mom to many of them. She loved baking and crafting delicious meals and trying new recipes. Sally enjoyed trips to the cabin with her sister while they talked and read books in the quiet. Her home was always welcoming to friends, family and especially to her grandchildren. Her special talent was bringing peace to everyone she encountered, a truly kindred spirit.
Sally is loved and survived by her husband, Tim, daughter Jenni (Jeremy), son John (Brandy), grandchildren Parker, Charlie, Laney, Miranda, Grace and Adalynn, sister Deborah (Len), brother Patrick (Sonja), numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends. Sally was well loved during her life and will be greatly missed.
Sally was preceded in death by her parents, Roger and Alice and nephew Isaac.
Memorial services will be Friday, July 15 at 1:00 p.m. at the Bates-Gould Chapel.
