On Dec. 21 the Chadron Police Department received a call from a citizen requesting a welfare check on a man who was struggling to walk in Chadron. The citizen said he was falling over too.

Sgt. Young contacted  19-year-old Tyree Good Crow.

Good Crow was slurring his speech and having difficulty maintaining his balance.

Sgt. Young attempted to detain Good Crow as a part of an MIP investigation, however Good Crow proceeded to flee from Sgt. Young on foot.

"Officers were able to locate Good Crow at his place of residence shortly after he fled," Chadron Police Chief Rick Hickstein said. "Good Crow proceeded to threaten an officer by telling him he would track the officer down and kill him, or would place a bounty of 'Bitcoins' on the officer. Good Crow was eventually talked into being placed in handcuffs without incident."

Good Crow was arrested on suspicion of Terroristic Threats, a Class IIIA Felony, Obstruct a Peace officer, a Class I Misdemeanor, and Minor in Possession of Alcohol, a Class III Misdemeanor.

Good Crow was transported to the Dawes County Jail.

Bond was set at 10% of $10,000.
