Helen M. Cameron, 87, died Sunday, January 30, 2022 at Box Butte General Hospital.
She was born May 21, 1934 in Scottsbluff, Nebraska to Ira H. and Marguerite V. (Morse) Warthen. She graduated from Alliance High School in 1952.
On June 17, 1969 she married Keith Cameron in Cheyenne, Wyoming. Helen worked as a hairstylist for many years in Alliance prior to her retirement. Her family was most important to her and she especially enjoyed the time she spent together with them. She was a member of the Alliance Berean Church.
She is survived by her husband, Keith Cameron of Alliance; her children, Bill Smith of Alliance, and Lori (Ken) Rein of Alliance; her grandchildren, Tyson (Tiffany) Rein of Cheyenne, WY, and Kolbee (Spencer) Sanchez of Alliance; great-grandchildren, Ariana and Olivia Rein and Gabriel and Drayden Sanchez. She is also survived by her brother-in-law, Larry Osterman of Largo, FL; her sister-in-law, Judy Poulsen of Des Moines, IA; and many nieces, nephews and other extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, her brothers, Raymond and Harold Warthen, and her sister, Shirley Osterman.
Private family graveside services and burial will be held in the Alliance Cemetery. Pastor Glenn Johnson will officiate.
